Whichever fits, I’ll take it from there.

Tell me what you’re trying to do and who it’s for — I’ll work out which approach fits and handle the rest. Every site is built around the people actually using it.

Growing businesses

A proper site that earns its keep — built from scratch around how your business actually works. I host it, look after it, and you can message me any time you want a change.

  • Bespoke build, never a template
  • Bookings, contact forms, or a simple shop
  • Hosting, security and updates all looked after
  • Plain-English edits whenever you need them

A build fee, plus a small monthly for hosting and supportQuoted per project after a quick chat

Wedding websites

Somewhere proper for your guests — RSVPs, menu picks, a shared photo gallery, all the bits that make the day easier. Designed around your invite suite so it feels like part of the day.

  • Designed from your invite suite — colours, fonts, the lot
  • Guest sign-in, RSVPs and menu choices
  • Shared photo & video gallery
  • Your own domain — .com, .co.uk or .wedding

Pay once, or spread it monthly until the dayTemplate package starts low; bespoke styling priced on top

Personal & bespoke

A hobby site, a blog about something you love, a little tool you wish existed — the kind of project most agencies won’t take on. I’ll build it carefully and we’ll keep it ticking over together.

  • A short call to scope what you have in mind
  • Fixed price, fixed timeline — no surprises
  • Built to last, not to lock you in
  • Ongoing care if you want it, no pressure if you don’t

Scoped per project — most come in modestlyQuick quote back within a day or two

Hi, I’m Jack.

Wiltshire-based developer with a Computer Science background and years working in infrastructure and software. Made by Jack is where I take that experience and turn it into calm, well-looked-after websites for small businesses, couples planning a wedding, and people with personal projects they care about.

No agency layers, no junior handed your work — you talk to me from the first message until long after the site’s live. I listen first, build it carefully, and stick around to help.

From first chat to live site, in four steps.

No agency runaround. You talk to the person building it, the whole way through.

01

Brief

A 20-minute call (or a long email) about what the site needs to do and who it’s for. Free, no pressure.

02

Design

Mockups within a week. We iterate until it feels like yours — not a template.

03

Build

I build it on a private preview URL so you can see it taking shape. Leave comments any time, I keep shipping.

04

Ship

Live on your own domain. A short walkthrough so you know how to edit your content afterwards.

Why it stays quick — and the only bill is mine.

Your site loads quickly from wherever your visitors happen to be sitting, and stays up without you ever having to think about it. Hosting is rolled into what you pay me, so it’s one bill instead of several — no separate invoices from a host, no surprise renewal letter from a registrar a year in. (It runs on Cloudflare’s edge network — the same kit some of the busiest sites in the world use, in case you wondered.)

The bits people usually ask.

If your question isn’t here, drop me a line — I read every message and reply quickly.

How much does a wedding website cost?

Depends what you’re after — there’s a template package that comes in modest, or fully bespoke styling priced on top of it. Either way I’ll come back with a clear quote after a quick chat. You can pay it all in one go, or spread it monthly across the months leading up to the day, whichever’s easier.

How long does a small business site take?

Quicker than you’d expect. Most small business sites go from first chat to live in a few weeks, depending on how much content you’ve got ready and how many rounds of tweaks you want. I keep things moving and won’t leave you chasing me.

What happens after the site is launched?

I look after it. Hosting, security, the boring bits behind the scenes — all handled. If something breaks, I fix it. If you want a change, you message me and it gets done. You don’t need to learn anything technical to keep it running.

Do I keep the domain?

Yes. If you already own a domain, it stays entirely yours and I just help with the DNS side. If I buy it for you as part of the project, I register it on your behalf for convenience and it’s treated as your asset — I’ll transfer it into your own account any time you ask, or whenever we stop working together, at no extra cost. Either way, the address you tell people about is yours.

What if I want to change something later?

Just message me. Small tweaks — a new photo, a price update, a fresh paragraph — are part of the deal and usually done the same day. Bigger changes I’ll quote upfront so there are no surprises.

Do you do hosting?

Yes, and it’s included — bundled into the one-off price for wedding sites, and rolled into the monthly fee for business sites. No separate hosting bill from anyone else, and nothing technical to think about on your end.

Where are you based?

Wiltshire, but most of the work happens remotely these days — so wherever you are in the UK, I’m just a message away.

Got something in mind? Let’s chat.

Even a one-liner is plenty — drop me a message and I’ll come back to you quickly. First chat is free, no pressure.
